Modem IRIDIUM A3LA-R

Model A3LA-R is a satellite modem comprising a 9523 L-band transceiver (LBT) with an extended input voltage range.

It is designed to operate with the Iridium network. Similar to a standard landline modem, the A3LA-R can be controlled by any data terminal equipment (DTE) capable of sending standard AT commands via a serial port.

A DTE can be a desktop computer, a laptop computer, a smart phone, or even a microcontroller. The A3LA-R is functionally compatible with models 9522, 9522A, 9522B, A3LA-D, A3LA-R, and A3LA-RS. It is approximately 60% smaller in volume and 50% lighter than the 9522B.
